NAME OF DAY: Today’s BIC Center Name of the Day is Kori.  If that’s your name, come into the BIC Center to pick out a free drink of your choice.
BIRTHDAYS: Patti Cull is celebrating today. Happy Birthday to Patti  and if we missed you on the list, Happy Birthday to you too from everyone at WVBI and your Beaver Island Community Center.
TRAFFIC: No delays inbound or outbound to the airports. The Island Beltway is running smoothly and there are no bridge delays. But, hey, let’s be careful out there, especially in the school zone.
On this day in 1838 Samuel Morse’s telegraph system, revolutionized long-distance communication. Samuel Morse, born in 1791, was a painter who conceived the idea for the electric telegraph in 1832 after learning about the electromagnet. Telegraph messages were replaced by phone, fax, and email, with Western Union’s final telegram in 2006.
Our Merriam Webster Word of the Day is  Loll, Loll most often means “to droop or hang loosely.” It can also mean “to act or move in a relaxed or lazy manner.”
// We’re counting down the days until the weather will be warm enough again to laze and loll by the pool.

Now, to wrap up for this Beaver Island Tuesday…
On a lighter note…
