MIOSHA Issues Workplace Rules Replacing Governor’s Order on covid-19 Workplace Safety

On Wednesday, the Michigan Occupational Safety and Health Administration issued a list of emergency rules that replace various workplace safety provisions in the governor’s invalidated orders.  The new rules are valid for six months and can be extended for one six month period.  The full order is on our COVID-19 info page.  The full text of the emergency rules is here: https://content.govdelivery.com/attachments/MIEOG/2020/10/14/file_attachments/1570997/MIOSHA%20Emergency%20Rules%2010-14-20.pdf  Among other things, the rules implementing screening requirements and the adoption of written workplace safety plans.
