The BI Human Services Commission is a collaboration of Island agencies and organizations dedicated to identifying, and assisting in providing access to, programs and services to enhance the human needs of the Beaver Island Community. We are asking for your ideas about what kind of educational programs you would be interested in having here. Some examples are home winterization, Internet safety, boating safety, home exercise information, insurance assistance, substance abuse information. We want to hear from everyone – young, old(er), full-time residents, summer folks. You can fill out a suggestion form at the Community Center or the Island churches. Or you can e-mail suggestions tobihscommission@gmail.com if you prefer.
Don’t be shy – all ideas will be considered. Thanks for your input!
