The Traverse Ticker reports that T-C is becoming the nation’s new hub for long COVID treatment. A partnership between Celly Health Medical Group and HealthBio, led by former Stanford virologist Dr. Bruce Patterson, has launched a first-of-its-kind national treatment center at Celly Health’s Bayview offices. The clinic says it uses research-backed methods and existing medications to help patients manage fatigue, brain fog, and other lasting COVID symptoms. Patterson told the Ticker that the center will combine primary care and long COVID treatment — offering both in-person and telehealth care for patients nationwide. In Lansing, a bill before a House committee would make local school board elections partisan. The plan, from Representative Jason Woolford of Howell, would list school board candidates by political party, which he says makes elections more transparent. But critics, including Representative Matt Koleszar of Plymouth, argue it would inject more politics into classrooms. The proposal wouldn’t affect state board races, which are already partisan. |
