Community Calendar Report for Monday, November 10, 2025mber

From our Langford Family Studios on America’s Emerald Isle, this is the W-V-B-I Community Calendar Report for Monday, November 10th, 2025.

First some news…

According to several major news channels. Eight Senate Democrats joined Republicans to advance legislation to end a 40-day government shutdown.

The Senate vote marks the first step in the process, but changes must pass the House, and further procedural obstacles may arise before the shutdown is resolved.

From a 9and10news story

A small plane made an emergency landing near the Ludington Pumped Storage Plant on Saturday afternoon. No injuries were reported.

Authorities were alerted by an iPhone crash detection alert just after 2 p.m.

The 61-year-old pilot from Washington reported the engine seized, forcing a controlled landing atop the reservoir.

The plane slid down an embankment and stopped at the hill’s bottom.

Both the pilot and his 83-year-old passenger from Muskegon were unharmed.

The National Transportation Safety Board (NTSB) was notified and will investigate.
