The health Center is reporting another big batch of tests and some positives. Their latest update shows 21 more tests run and seven additional people testing positive. They have one test pending. That brings the current case count to 25. Next report from the state is due out this afternoon.
The website to get your four free COVID-19 tests is online at covid tests dot gov. It works through the Post Offices website so, if your Beaver Island address doesn’t show as valid there as is the case for a number of addresses on the island, you’ll find the order doesn’t go through. If you have an island PO box, that will work. Again, the web address is covid tests dot gov. http://covidtests.gov.
