About the Show
The Top Ten + Five is the island’s own home grown count-down show with host Cynthia Jaye. It’s based on a highly scientific poll conducted each week at the Paradise Bay Coffee Shop. The customers provide their votes and the results are placed in a hermetically sealed mayonnaise jar and buried behind the shop. On Saturday mornings a Beaver Island beaver digs up the jar and delivers it to Cynthia who then counts ’em down just for you. The topic is different every week and you can count on learning something you don’t know about every song played. Miss the show on Saturday morning at 10:00? Catch the encore on Wednesday evening at 7:00.
