We’ve tried to include everything, but if we’ve missed your event you can easily add it yourself by using the handy “Post Your Event” button in the upper right of the calendar or by sending an email with the details to¬†calendar@wvbi.net. And, we can make it easy for your events to show up in a nice calendar on your website, too, so you only have to post them once. Word of the day: onomatopoeia (on-uh-mat-uh-PEE-uh) which means the formation of a word, as cuckoo, meow, honk, or boom, by imitation of a sound made by or associated with its referent. Onomatopoeia stems from the Greek onomatopoiía meaning “making of words,” drawing from ónoma meaning “name” and poieîn meaning “to make.” It entered English in the mid-1500s.

Hey, Let’s be careful out there. Especially in the school zone.
To Lucas and all our listeners, Thomas Edison said there is always a better way, what’s missing there is the how and where, so if he would have filled in a few blanks I’d be better guided. Alas, it does lead to further query.
That’s the WVBI Community Calendar for Wednesday June 8th, 2016. I’m Greg Doig at WVBI ‚the Voice of Beaver Island.
