New Hours at the Library
The Beaver Island District Library is pleased to announce new hours of operation intended to optimize the availability of our facility, staff, and resources to the school.
*Note also the new closing time for the school year.*
Weekdays: 8:30 – 5:00
Saturday: 12:00 – 5:00
Weekdays during scheduled school breaks, the library will open at 10:00 and close at 5:00.
How can you make a difference in the community of Beaver Island? Better yet, can you think of someone who has or continues to make a difference in our community?
Saturday is National Make A Difference Day.
Next week (Oct. 30 Nov. 4), come into the library and write a post-it note about someone (or yourself) who made a difference in our community (during the 2017 year). Place it on the display. Let’s fill it up.
Can’t make it in? Call us at 448-2701 and tell us the details. We’ll fill it in for you.
Let’s pat some folks on the back who try to make a difference in someone’s life here on the island.

And, we can make it easy for your events to show up in a nice calendar on your website, too, so you only have to post them once. Your website can show only your events or those plus other categories from the calendar that you choose.
