DID YOU KNOW THAT St. Paul , Minnesota , was originally called Pig’s Eye after a man named Pierre ‘Pig’s Eye’ Parrant who set up the first business there. The first U.S. settlement in the region after the Louisiana Purchase was Fort Snelling. The military didn’t allow settlers on fort lands, so Pierre ‘Pig’s Eye’ Parrant set up his tavern on the opposite side of the river near what’s known now as Lambert’s Landing. The region became known to locals as Pig’s Eye, or Pig’s Eye Landing.

Traffic
… Still no delays to report on Beaver Island.
Hey, let’s be careful out there. Especially in the school zone.
To Lucas and all our listeners, if you can avoid it, don’t live in an area where you have to pay before pumping gas.
On a lighter note, some have asked already for me to quit with the turkey jokes. Problem there is that I can’t quit, COLD Turkey!!!
