News Update

Community Calendar for Monday, May 20th, 2019

From studios in the BIC Center on America’s Emerald Isle, this is the WVBi Community Calendar for Monday, May 20th, 2019.
First some news… Senior Banquet and Dance…otherwise known as Bash was a wonderful event this weekend. The theme of the dinner was elegance. Underclassmen decorated Holy Cross Hall to that theme with light filled bottles, gorgeous table settings and lots of other nice touches. The multi-course dinner featured chicken alfredo and a special desert. There were slide shows for each of the seniors—Kai Drost, Brenan, Quin and Turner Jones, Sveta Stebbins, Riley Williamson and Erin Wiser…and thoughtful remarks from the underclassman on the seniors. The boat-ride was a bit of a washout with the rain and cold, but that did nothing to dampen spirits for the dance that followed.
Now, here’s what’s happening on your island …
