Phyllis and Joe Moore Weather
Right now, at 8 am., it is 60 degrees out there with an expected high of 72 with a low of 58. The pressure is 30.04 with visibility at ten miles. The clouds are overcast at 500 feet. The dewpoiint is 60 degrees with humidity at 99%, which suggests there might be some fog out there this morning. We got one-temth of an inch of rain yesterday to make the flowers and vegetable garden happy, even if the day wasn’t a beach day. The rain chance is only at 5%, so it should clear off and be a nice day
Word of the Day: savant, (sa-VAHNT), noun; a person of learning; especially : one with detailed knowledge in some specialized field (as of science or literature);
On this day: In 1789, Bastille Day – the French Revolution begins with the fall of the Bastille Prison.

… Still no delays to report on Beaver Island.

Hey, let’s be careful out there. Especially in the school zone.

To Lucas and all our listeners, doing your best should eliminate your doubts. What ever gets done may not be the best, but it can always be done again better, if need be.

On a lighter note, how do you make anti-freeze? Take away her blanket!!!

That’s the WVBI Community Calendar for Friday July 14th, 2017.

I’m Greg Doig at WVBI‚ the Voice of Beaver Island. Have a great day, and thank you for listening!
