At our website, we’ve tried to include everything, but if we’ve missed your event you can easily add it yourself by using the handy “Post Your Event” button in the upper right of the calendar or by sending an email with the details to<>. And, we can make it easy for your events to show up in a nice calendar on your website, too, so you only have to post them once. Your website can show only your events or those plus other categories from the calendar that you choose.

It’s cold out on the island right now, but soon enough summer will return and even today some are planning visits for next year. To help coordinate the events we’ve taken the major events for Summer 2018 and compiled them into a nifty little Celebrate Summer 2018 online calendar. Just point your browser at to get the lowdown on everything planned so far for next summer. Then check back from time to time as more events will be added as dates are firmed up.

Still no delays to report on Beaver Island.

Hey, let’s be careful out there. Especially in the school zone.

To Lucas, Sophia and all our listeners, we all fall short at times in our lives. The key is to forgive yourself and forget any blunders as soon as possible.

On a lighter note, what do you call a pigpen in winter? A pig-loo!!!

That’s the WVBI Community Calendar for Tuesday January 2nd, 2018.

I’m Greg Doig at WVBI‚ the Voice of Beaver Island. Make today the best day ever, and thank you for listening!
