Estimated Active Cases in this chart are calculated by subtracting the number of cases extant 30 days prior to the current date. The impact of deaths is not included because data released by the state doesn’t tie deaths to the date of onset. As a result, the calculated numbers may be assumed to slightly overstate the number of active cases as defined by the state.
