A native Michigander, Cynthia is an independent writer for the Beaver Beacon, Lighthouse Digest, Great Lakes Cruiser Magazine and many other small-press publications. Formerly a staff reporter and contributing editor, Cynthia chronicled the Great Lakes Tall Ships races from 1994-2004, through Canada, Michigan, Ohio, and Illinois. She is a published poet, blogger, avid boodler and top-notch popcorn girl.
