WVBI COVID-19 Update for March 14, 2022

Friday’s COVID-19 data dump from the state looked good. Seven-day average for new cases is now at 745. Four deaths, it is 43 including reclassifications from prior dates. There were seven new deaths statewide in the two-period covered by the report. Hospital utilization data continue to show good levels for overall use and good trends for COVID-19 occupancy. That stands at 3.9% for regular beds and 5.9% for I-C-U beds. Nothing new on the COVID-19 data front from the Health Center today. No news from the Center. No new tests. No tests pending. No active island cases.
