First, some news…
Munson Medical Center nurses in Traverse City are planning a practice strike on Thursday, April 9, from 4:30 to 6:15 p.m. The nurses report concerns about staffing levels, mandatory overtime, and working without a contract. Munson Medical Center reports negotiations are ongoing, and patient care will not be affected.
Team 6098 BIROBOT
The team kicked off their year at the LSSU District event, earning 12 district points and hitting a 226-point match high. They gained valuable experience, learned a ton, and showed awesome teamwork on and off the field. The team was selected for an alliance in the playoff rounds by the number 3 alliance. Team 6098 is fired up and ready for the next event—let’s go 6098!
And looking ahead to next week: Team 6098 BIROBOT heads to the Ferris State District Event on April 9th and 10th. More details to come!
