Join the Beaver Island Historical Society and the BIC Center in remembering the crew of the Carl D. Bradley and their families with the film November, the premiere of a filmed interview with survivor Frank Mays and Q&A with islanders who were here when she went down.  The Bradley sank in a November storm off Gull Island on November 18, 1958.  November Requiem tells the stories of the crew, their families and modern efforts to memorialize the wreck with a dive to recover the ships bell and bring it home to Roger’s City.  Then, we’re proud to present the premier screening of segments of a Beaver Island interview with Frank Mays, one of only two survivors of the wreck.  He’s interviewed by BIHS Board Member Dick Mulvhill.  Next will be an opportunity for live presentations and Q&A with Beaver Islanders who were on the island at the time of the sinking.

Please join us for this special event brought to you by the Beaver Island Historical Society and the BIC Center.  Free will donation of $5; students are free.  The concession stand will be open.
