Community Calendar for January 18, 2018

Posted on Posted in News Update

Today is Thursday January 18th, 2018. I’m Greg Doig with today’s WVBI Community Calendar.

Indigenous communities are spread across Canada. Some are remote; others are close to the U-S border. But many have something in common – unsafe drinking water. Great Lakes Today’s Elizabeth Miller visited a reservation for the last story in our series on environmental justice.

At our website, we’ve tried to include everything, but if we’ve missed your event you can easily add it yourself by using the handy “Post Your Event” button in the upper right of the calendar or by sending an email with the details to calendar@wvbi.net<mailto:calendar@wvbi.net>. And, we can make it easy for your events to show up in a nice calendar on your website, too, so you only have to post them once. Your website can show only your events or those plus other categories from the calendar that you choose.

To help coordinate the events we’ve taken the major events for Summer 2018 and compiled them into a nifty little Celebrate Summer 2018 online calendar. Just point your browser at summer.wvbi.net to get the lowdown on everything planned so far for next summer. Then check back from time to time as more events will be added as dates are firmed up.
